The night after the Council of Constance four Archangels appeared to Cossa. None of them were named in the Bible.

The first one appeared with a burst of holy flame an orange so vivid it had to be the work of the divine. "I am Gillivray. I am Dom. I am Judgment."

The second seemed to be made of shadow. His wings were dark and violent. "I am Mort. I am Than. I am Death."

The third seemed the be of poorer stock. He stood at a sideways angle exposing the scars on his back for he wore no shirt and had no wings. He stood with a cane. "I am Mord. I am Umor. I am Murder."

The fourth and final was five. Twins, one a man and the other a woman. They looked identical, with flesh of meat and metal. "I am Viggo," said one. "I am Edwige," said the other. "I am War," as one.

The Four Archangels began to speak in an infinite cacophony of voices, "We are the children of an eternal god who has yet to be born. You shall be our first divergence. Soon you will know the Grand Trinity. The Books of Babel. The Hymns of The Ladder. The Script of Scribes. Books, songs, and poems. Spread the gospel. Know the gods. Time. Truth. Morality. Intelligence. Change. Strength. Nature. Entropy. Be well and be gone."

They were gone the moment Cossa blinked. This was the beginning of the rebirth of polytheism in Europe. This was the start of the Order of The Final Communion or simply the Temporal Church.
